Digital Screen Display Requests

Important Note

The platform used to manage the digital screens is changing, as our contract with Carousel has ended. This will impact the display design of the screens and shift the dimensions of needed graphics. We appreciate your patience as we implement our new system. More details will be available soon!
 

The Arts and Humanities building has TV screens in the lobby of several of the floors within the building. The screens are used to display content relevant to the departments, School of Arts and Humanities and campus as a whole. Please see below to request content be included on the screens.


  • TO SUBMIT A REQUEST:
    • Complete the below form at least 5-days before the graphic is to be displayed.
    • Decisions to display content are at the discretion of the Dean's Office communications team.
  • GRAPHIC REQUIREMENTS: 
    • Sized exactly 3059 x 1720 px @ 72dpi, submitted in JPG or PNG
    • Named with the date and name of event/content (ex: 2023-Nov-Jewish-Studies-Event.jpg)
    • Design should adhere to the UC San Diego brand guidelines
      • Remember the details and keep it simple! Make sure your graphic includes the who, what, when, where, why and how to get more information. Avoid small fonts and blocks of text - instead use bulleted text and QR codes to direct to more information. Each slide is only shown for 10 seconds and should be easy to read and understand quickly.
  •  DISPLAY DETAILS:
    • The content submitted will be displayed in the center portion of the screen. Customization is not possible on the side, top or bottom of the screen.
    • Each graphic is displayed for 10 seconds.
    • The screens only display content Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
